I am looking to hire a car at Manchester City Centre for approximately a month from 19th December?

You can do it all online, insert location name together with pick up and drop off dates and times and press SEARCH. When the website show results (cars) it is possible to pick up your rental car based on your search criteria.

I have tried it but says no cars avilable!

Don't forget non Airport locations are normally only open during office hours. Remember this also:-

During the booking process once you have entered your search criteria, you will see car photos (results). At the top right hand side is a drop down filter, choose "SORT BY DISTANCE”. This will shuffle the available cars based upon nearest, with a small map. The specified distance above the map is the distance from the inserted desired location to the location of the nearest supplier. Click on the little map to expand and the exact address/location will be shown.

OK, then there is no availabilty that pick up day. Manchester Airport is the nearest with available cars during that period. Just 4 miles away (approx).
