Client

I'm planning to book a car in Amsterdam, including Premium Cover. Will I still need to pay a deposit when I pick up the car? And what will be deposit?

Yes you always have to pay a deposit. If you are offered the extra insurance online, and take it this will normally reduce the deposit. To see what is the deposit amount, look here:-

Must the credit card be in the name of the main driver? Or can I use my wifes credit card or pay cash?

Agent

At STEP2 of our 3 step online booking process, to the right of the car photo of your choice, is a link entitled "IMPORTANT INFORMATION". Click on this link and it will open an additional smaller window, chose PAYMENT where the terms and conditions appertaining to that particular car at your chosen location are displayed. Cash is not accepted. You may wish to try a few different suppliers, as their deposit amounts do vary.

In case you want to use the credit card of your wife you better make the booking in her name (even if she is not going to drive) and add yourself as the additional driver. You may find the offer "Free additional driver" (it is visible in a green banner just above the car photo, if available).
