I want to pick up a rental car at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and drop it off at Amsterdam Central Station, but your system insists that I drop it off at Schiphol!!?

As far as I can see your search has correctly displayed a collection at the Airport and return to Central Station?! What makes you think that you have to return it to the Airport?

That's is what I see in the Price Summary column at the right hand side of the page: Drop-Off, Amsterdam-Schiphol Ap, Amsterdam, 1118 AA.

OK, I see what you mean and I also see what the problem is. Thrifty has no location near the Amsterdam Central Railway Station. So it re-directs you to the Airport. The other 3 suppliers shown (Enterprise, Sixt or Alamo) do have a car rental location at, or very near to the Central Station.

Ok Dennis, I've almost completed the booking with Thrifty and about to pay for it - what shall I do?

Please go back to "RESULTS" which you can click on at the top left hand side of the page. Choose one of the other suppliers I mentioned (Enterprise, Sixt or Alamo) and complete the booking.

I have a meeting in the Hague that ends around 18:00. Would 20:00 hrs be the right time to drop off my hire car at Central Station Amsterdam?

Agent

Yes, 2 hours travel time is enough. You might meet some traffic jam between Den Haag and Amsterdam.
